At first glance he seems a simpleton and a reveler. He looks young, though he is already mature. Agile and quick enough that foes struggle to hit him. Extremely plain in his judgments. Loves life in all its brighter sides. Always ready to help those he calls friends and wants nothing in return — while still noting that his pockets could hold more coin. He thinks he is a fine joker; others do not. Behind the jester’s mask is a cunning man skilled at surviving.

Backstory

Salem never plans more than two days ahead. That approach — and his sharp tongue — keeps trouble close. Not long ago a mage turned him into a bear for it. The time in a beast’s body was hard, yet he learned absolutely nothing from the story.
